Local suggestions
Apple Vision OCR suggests names, institutions, account identifiers, email addresses, and phone numbers on the Mac.

Native macOS · Privacy preparation
MaskTouch prepares a reviewable copy of a photo, scan, or PDF so private names, account identifiers, institutions, contact details, and faces can be covered before the file goes to another person or AI.
MAIN FEATURES
Apple Vision OCR suggests names, institutions, account identifiers, email addresses, and phone numbers on the Mac.
Search an exact name or account number, inspect every occurrence, then mask selected matches or all matches together.
Drag directly over anything automatic detection did not find, with per-page undo and clear controls.
Choose whole-face, eyes-only, mouth-only, or eyes-and-mouth coverage. Whole-face masking is the recommended privacy choice.
Compare the original with the processed preview and explicitly confirm before any output is created.
Choose a destination and filename, then save burned-in PNG pages or a rasterized PDF without the source text layer or metadata.
THE MASKTOUCH FLOW
Select up to 20 photos, or open supported image and PDF files.
Use suggestions, exact search, face controls, and manual masks while comparing the preview.
Confirm, choose Save As, and create a permanent masked PDF or PNG derivative.
A CLEAR PRIVACY BOUNDARY
MaskTouch processes its review workflow locally and does not upload the source to a MaskTouch service. The Mac app uses the folder you choose for its processed output and does not create a second managed library.
Current release status: development proof of concept. Automatic detection can miss private information, and MaskTouch is not a certified anonymization tool. Always inspect the preview before sharing.
